WG Early Career Researchers

The Early Career Researchers working group offers a platform for information and exchange for all young academics from students to postdocs (and possibly beyond). Networking among young academics within the society and Paleontology as well as with other geoscientific societies and fields is our primary aim. We also would like to offer workshops on various topics relevant for ECRs. The close collaboration with DVGeo and its young academics group Geo-Nachwuchs offers additional possibilities for networking and jointly organized interdisciplinary workshops.

We would like to support young academics entering the professional paleo-world. The ECR working group is all about interaction via online platforms and meetings specially dedicated to young academics at the annual PalGes conferences. With these attractive offers, we hope to enthuse young paleontologists to join the PalGes.
