The scientific publication organ of the Paläontologische Gesellschaft
The Paläontologische Zeitschrift (today PalZ) was founded in 1913 and has been published officially at regular intervals since 1914.
The journal publishes scientific contributions from the field of palaeontology, initially in German, English and French. The journal has been published by Springer-Verlag since 2009 and was recently included in the ISI Index of Science. The now preferred language is English, which better ensures international visibility.
The PalZ - Paläontologische Zeitschrift is currently published 4 times a year, in regular intervals. Scientific contributions are indexed: Biological Abstracts, BIOSIS, Current Contents/Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences, GeoRef, Google Scholar, International Bibliography of Periodical Literature (IBZ), Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, OCLC, Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch), SCOPUS, Summon by Serial Solutions, VINITI - Russian Academy of Science, Zoological Record.
All issues of the PalZ - Paläontologische Zeitschrift published so far are digitally available. Members of the society receive online access with their membership.

No problem. We still have copies of many vintages from 1957 onwards in stock, which we would be happy to sell to you.
Each volume, consisting of all issues of one volume, costs 120,- EUR in the individual order, plus postage (3,90,- EUR), members of the society receive a 50% discount. You can also purchase retroactive memberships, in which case you will also receive the issues of previous years at the preferential member rate of 60,- EUR per volume.
The price therefore corresponds to the current annual fee. If not all issues of a year are available, the price will be reduced proportionally by the missing issues.
To order, please send an e-mail with your address and indication of the volume numbers or years you wish to order. We will then send you the desired issues by invoice.
